Halloween fill in the blank Friday

From the little things we do.

1. My Halloween plans this year will include handing out candy to trick or treaters. We always get lots of cute kids at our house! Every year we run out of candy, so I bought extra this time. I hope I did, anyway... it's so hard to estimate.

2. My most memorable Halloween costume was Wilma Flintstone (2006)! I loved that costume because I made it myself.

3. For Halloween this year I'm going to be nothing. On Saturday we're going to a wedding, and I'm happy I have an excuse not to go to a party, because I'm not really into it.

4. I've always wanted to dress up as something really pretty like a ballerina. I also want to be Lois Griffin [from Family Guy] but James refuses to be Peter so it won't work!

Oh I just got an excellent idea! Maybe I can get him to do it when we have a baby and dress him/her as Stewie! That would be much better ;)

5. Halloween free association!  Candy, trick or treating, pumpkins, Fall.

Fill in the blank Friday

I am going major shopping tomorrow. I'm hoping to pick up some Christmas decor, shoes, work clothes, birthday gifts, Halloween candy and more. It's a bit overwhelming.

I wish that the work week was 4 days, and the weekends were 3.

I like being married to my husband.

I can cook. I've been making some delicious dinners lately! I need to be taking pictures and blogging the recipes.

I hope I start going to the gym again.

I think that I'm so over our house. I want a new one and am obsessed with online house hunting.

I was having too much fun hanging out with my sister last night to watch Jersey Shore. Maybe Sunday will be DVR catch up day.

Fill in the blank Friday

Tonight's a fill in the blank kind of night, don't you think?

Thanks Lauren.

1. The first thing I do in the morning is pee, then put my hair up and brush my teeth.

2. Every night before bed I watch TV, snuggle, make sure my alarm is on, & tell James goodnight & I love you.

3. My favorite thing to do when I'm having a bad day is watch TV and drink wine.

4. Something that makes me cringe is watching Michael Scott on The Office.

5. Social situations are things I make myself attend. Sometimes I'd just rather lounge at home, but I know friend time is important. And I always have a great time.

6. I like to collect wine corks. I always put them in a drawer rather than in the trash, and I don't know why. Other than that I try not to collect anything because I really dislike clutter. That doesn't mean my house isn't cluttered... but I do my best to minimize it.

7. Weekends are for relaxing, grocery shopping, watching Law & Order reruns.

Fill in the blank Friday on Saturday

I always read through my blogroll on Saturday morning and wish that I had participated in fill in the blank Friday the day before. Kaitlin (who I went to college with) posts is via Lauren, and it seems fun so I'm going to do it too, even though it's not Friday!

1. Today I am wearing PJs still! I'll put on shorts and a T shirt shortly.

2. My favorite childhood food was pizza from Marco's and my favorite food now is my homemade lasagna.

3. A day that I am too busy to eat breakfast at home, and eat lunch at all is a day that I am too busy.

4. The last movie I saw was Bravehart on TV and the next movie I want to see is The Hangover - I still haven't seen it!

5. My favorite smell is cookies fresh from the oven because it's cozy and sweet!

6. A weird little quirk I have is I count stairs as I go up or down them. I actually count a lot of things, but mostly stairs.

7. When I take personality quizzes they always say that they can't categorize me because I'm too random. I like that about me, and it's totally true.
